| Description |
As a process technician, you will perform calibrations, and maintain process technology equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), AC and DC Digital drives, Human Machine Interfaces, displays, indicators, meters, transmitters, relays, computers, networking, and environmental systems. You may also install new equipment, monitor operations, and trouble-shoot any equipment problems. You will work under minimal direction of a process engineer or manager of Process Control. You must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime at a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week, 365 day/year operation.
Primary Responsibility:
Perform calibration on process control equipment. That equipment may be:
- Flow Transmitters
- Level Transmitters
- Temperature Transmitters
- PLC cards measuring Thermocouples, RTD’s, or Pyrometers
- Signal Conditioners
- And other devices needing calibration
Other Support Task as needed:
Provide repair and replacement of electrical and electronic control systems and/or instrumentation.
- Install new equipment
- Monitor operations processes
- Basic Programming of PLC and HMI screens.

| Requirements |
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates of Applied Science Degree in instrumentation, process technology, electrical engineering or equivalent experience through apprenticeship and/or work as a Sr. Process Control technician.
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC and HMI Programming experience.
- Experience with motor drive systems
Skills Required:
- Understanding of safety and environmental requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in instrumentation such as thermocouples, transmitters, drive systems, PLC systems, and graphical programming packages.
- Ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics for trouble shooting and repair.
- Effective written, verbal, and communication skills.
