A manufacturing mechanical engineer is responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing equipment used to assemble, process, test/and or manufacture of The Company’s products. The Mechanical Engineer is also responsible for the following quality systems procedures, as required.
Responsibilities include the design, installation, debug and documentation of tooling and capital equipment. Directly responsible for the transfer of the equipment into production and supporting maintenance while the transfer occurs. Also works with vendors, as requires, ensuring outsourced engineering projects conform to the company requirements and meet the company’s needs. Other duties include assisting in improving overall manufacturing process and related issues including process development, product assembly and production processing.
The Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
